Montrose Harbor Family Portrait Session - It's Good to Remember to Play

With children involved, sometimes sessions can be unpredictable - especially when the photographer makes a judgment error and chooses a very cold and windy location on Montrose Beach (oops! I’m not perfect sometimes…don’t tell anyone.) That being said, we still managed to have a good time and, I think, the best sessions are the ones that eventually devolve into some solid playtime. We could all use the lightness of playtime right now, it feels good to remember that it’s ok to laugh and play. I have no children in my house so sometimes that’s as simple as chasing the cat around the house. I hope it’s fun for her, you can never really tell with a cat.

As much fun as I’m having indoors (LOL), I’d give just about anything to be standing on that cold, windy beach right about now, how about you? Here’s one of the last sessions I did before lockdown with a couple of dear friends. Also…I MAY have captured an actual Jedi at work!
